OVERVIEW

Description

A great percentage of Colombian drivers risk their life when using their mobile phones while driving. To warn them about the danger they were facing we recorded a radio spot with an illiterate broadcaster, who sent a message to all those who do know how to read and write, but use those abilities in an unwise way, risking themselves to learn a lesson in the wrong way.

Execution

To develop the idea we had to find illiterate people that wanted to spread a civic message. Once we found them and they agreed to help us, we visited their homes to know their life stories and the reason why they were illiterate. Then we took them to a recording studio and, with the help of a person that knows how to read and write we recorded a radio spot targeting all the drivers in Colombia, emphasizing the risk they face when they use their mobile phones when driving. We documented all the process and set up a case that could help us to spread this idea.

Outcome

The idea at this moment is on air.
