Description

No one wants to remember their bathroom trips. That’s why Quilted Northern® has spent more than 100 years designing premium toilet paper that ensures they can simply flush and forget. But this April Fools’ Day, they pretended to release a product that does the opposite: it remembers everything.

This is the launch film for uSit, the world’s first biometric bathroom tracker. Played with a (mostly) straight-face, the film introduces a new wearable that tracks “sitting” data like frequency and duration. And, much like other activity trackers, uSit lets you share your data on social media, earn badges for meeting bathroom goals and start challenges with friends.

The film shows uSit users modeling the device and demonstrating different functionalities. It also shows their friends receiving uncomfortable shares and updates. Finally, the film drove sales of real products with an annotated end-card that allowed people to redeem coupons for Quilted Northern®.
