Description

Baby’s night fever is one of the biggest concerns of mothers. In addition to health problems, it can cause convulsions in the middle of the night. Vick Thermometer Pajamas was developed to ease that moment of concern. With a sensor connected to the mobile app on the mother's cell phone, it sends an alarm if the baby has fever, guiding how to proceed and storing a history of his temperature all night long. With this new device Vick has reached its goal: get closer to the new mothers, conquering their sympathy in a moment of extreme fragility. We sent the Pajamas to bloggers and opinion formers, which wrote with enthusiasm about our product to thousands of followers, also mothers. That way, Vick Thermometer Pajamas became an object of desire to many people and the brand was reminded in the best time of the year for them: the arrival of winter.

Execution

Vick Thermometer Pajamas was sent as a direct mail to bloggers (mothers of babies) and opinion formers. All of them received a kit with the Pajamas and a manual of how to use it. The app that interacts with the wardrobe can be downloaded on Google Play. Once downloaded, it identifies the Pajama’s sensor via Bluetooth and already starts to store information in the app. But to work correctly, the child must be wearing the Pajamas with the sensor properly positioned.

Outcome

With Vick Thermometer Pajamas, we won the sympathy of many mothers, who identified the brand's empathy when worried about a problem that haunts all mommies. In turn, they wrote with enthusiasm about our product to thousands of followers, also mothers. That way, Vick Thermometer Pajamas became an object of desire to many people and the brand was reminded in an innovative way in the best time of the year for them: the arrival of winter.
