Description
We would conduct a series of poignant interviews to examine the true impact marriage equality. We opened each session by asking each couple how long they’d been together, and then followed up with another simple—yet deeply complex— question. It was a question that for years, they never thought they would hear:
“So, what’s it like to be married?”
Execution
We produced a 4:00 anthem video and five additional videos that highlighted each couple. The videos were distributed on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter as branded social content for three weeks in November 2015.
Outcome
4.5 million video views
65 million social impressions
57 million PR impressions
Featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (4 million daily viewers)
And on Ellen’s social pages (53.3 million Twitter followers, 23.5 million Facebook fans)
