Description

A young man backs into a parking space in his Polo, slightly touching the truck behind him. The guy is extremely worried about the truck driver’s condition, because his Polo is small but tough.

Execution

In order to communicate the message – the Polo is exceptionally tough – convincingly, it was vital to simulate the car accident as realistic as possible: a breakdown triangle is positioned, the hazard warning lights are turned on, shards and pieces of metal lie on the street. The door on the driver side is open. Apparently, the other car crashed into it as it is strongly dented in the front. In contrast, the Polo has no single scratch.

Outcome

The Volkswagen dealers observed a very positive response to the special promotion. After purchasing their Polo, many customers acknowledged that the first-aid kit affirmed them in their buying decision.
