Description

Following on from a new neon led corporate identity launched in 2013, the task was to create a new brand film for Way To Blue that highlighted the 4 pillars of the business offer and developed the neon branding in an exciting and dynamic way for an audience of film and television clients existing and prospective.

Through 3d animation. The world of Way To Blue and its neon was brought to life in a 3d space. The companies four pillars Listen, Think, Amplify and Engage were brought to life as sculptural neon installations within the Way To Blue studio space itself. The story of the company offer and unique strategies was then told on the journey through the 3d space.

The target audience new starters and established staff. Global clients looking for digital PR expertise, prominently with the film industry.

Execution

Starting with icons generated in adobe illustrator we extracted their key vector information to help the transformation into 3d. The modelling was done in Cinema 4d great care and attention was spent on ensuring the models had many of the real elements associated with an actual neon sign, such as support brackets, wiring, Plugs etc.

We also extensively studied real neon signs to best much its illumination and glow properties after many render tests we achieved an incredibly accurate representation. All these extra details helped for a far more convincing model when lit and rendered. Further post production enhancements were completed in after effects.
