Description

Original site launched 12/01/01. Site relaunched 20/03/02. Objective for original site were: To design a user-friendly website to provide Ford Rallye Sport community with dedicated online resource to enable continuous dialogue with them, bringing fans closer to the rallying action including the World Rally Championship. To create better awareness of Ford's involvement in rally sport and how this is relevant to Ford's consumers, to show Ford's passion for the sport. To provide support for the site with a powerful, MultiJac custom-designed content management system that allows complex, media-rich information to be uploaded by non-computer literate team staff from any location worldwide, essential for a global activity. The enhanced and rebranded site was launched on 20th March 2002. Objectives for the relaunched site were: upgrade and enhance the site to meet the exponentially-increasing demand for internet coverage of Ford Rallye Sports team's activities creating continuous dialogue with them, bring fans closer to international and national rallying action also, reinforce Ford Rallye Sport's new lifestyle, corporate identity and to communicate and reinforce all key brand values associated with the team and Ford Motor Company Target Ford Rallye Sport, World Rally Championship, National Rally Championship fans, the press, global Ford employees and car buying consumers.
