The trail celebrates 90 years of BBC innovations, taking us on a journey from 1922 to the present day in 60 seconds.

Using a plethora of footage from the BBC archive the trail pieces together key moments in BBC innovations history. In each frame a character walks from left to right, seemingly becoming the character in the next frame, creating the metaphor that the BBC is always evolving and moving forward.

This is achieved through remarkable editing and post techniques, all of which have been carefully considered in order to make them appropriate to the visual language of their time.
