"Whopper Trade-in", get a whopper for your lunchbox.
Where there are offices - There are lunchboxes…
Or as we call them: leftovers.
So we asked people to bring their leftovers to our new branch, we taste them,
And if they are awful enough, we trade them for a Whopper!
Execution
We spread the word with a digital movie, billboards, location based mobile pre-loaders, and even magnets with our trade-in offer which we put on refrigerator doors in the offices around the area, in order to expose people to our offer exactly on lunchtime.
7/3/2016 - We released our digital movie on Facebook, YouTube, and also as pre-rolls,
7/3/2016 - In order to reach the people who work in the area we spreaded around 1000 magnets with our trade-in offer, which we put on refrigerator doors in the offices around the area.
7-14/3/2016 - 2 billboards in the area.
7-14/3/2016 – location based mobile pre-loaders.
Outcome
Over 100,000 views of the campaign's digital movie
More than 15,000 people were exposed to our magnets and the Trade-in offer exactly on lunchtime.
More than 8,000 visitors on the opening week and over 2,000 trade-ins.
