Marqués de Riscal asked us to create an identity for a new young range of wines from specific single estates in the nearby region. The fertile land is connected to rural farms known locally as 'Fincas'.
Execution
Inspired by Google Earth views of the specific Fincas and vineyard plots we created labels drawn from the boundary lines of the property.Combined with the traditional Riscal label shape the overall look as a stylish abstraction of what is in fact a map.The colour combination reflect both the soil and the character of the wines – the pale gravelly soil of the Rueda region of the crisp dry white, and the earthy orange soil of the Rioja region for the red wine.
