Background

In 2014, Brazil was defeated by Germany in the FIFA World Cup, by 7-1. At home. Since then, the connection between the people and the team had never been the same. Vivo – Telefonica Brazil – is a sponsor of the national team. And we needed to reconnect Brazilians with their biggest pride.

Execution

We decided to evoke the best feelings Brazilians have about football. We used only black & white pictures, to help people remembering about their glorious past on football. All pictures were taken in 2018, but you can’t tell that by looking at them. We went through the inner Brazil carrying analogic cameras to shoot real people, really feeling their love for football.
