Description
OMD is 10 years old...We wanted to share our energy and celebrate our success with our media sector, clients, opinion leaders, academicians and students.
We launched world’s 1’st agency radio “Radio OMD” under www.radioomd.com. To appeal all platforms, we crafted the apps for desktop and Android. Our IT department built the infrastructure and undertook the management. We shared our melodies 24/7 as employees being the DJs. We activated Facebook/Twitter accounts to promote our programs and give song information live. 4000 unique people listened us so far in 23,446 sessions. We received thousands of tweets/comments during the programs.
Execution
Having OMD employees as the DJs, we started sharing our melodies 24/7. To be reached from all platforms, we crafted the apps for desktop, android and iphone. We secured the musical copyrights. Our IT department built the technical infrastructure with special servers and software; and undertook the management.
We didn’t have a particular sound preference. Our DJs prepared their own lists as they wish, owning certain days of the week. During the time remaining, a computer aided easy listening format ‘Sound of Media’ was stepping in. In parallel to broadcast, we activated Facebook and Twitter accounts. We both promoted our programs and gave information about the songs during the broadcast
Outcome
4000 unique people listened us so far in 23,446 sessions. We received thousands of tweets/comments during the programs, from our clients, friends and colleagues from our sector.
