Xerox wanted to find an effective way to raise awareness among the mexicans about the environmental impact that the indiscriminate use of paper has.How we did it? Making public a shocking and almost unknown fact that managed to make them think seriously about the matter and take action.
Outcome
Xerox is the pioneer on the practice of remanufacturing, reusing and recycling office equipment.Since 1991, the Xerox remanufacturing and recycling process has prevented more than 1 million tons of waste thrown to nature. The environment care has increased with campaignslike these. Xerox also maintains an intern strategy known as 'La fábrica libre de residuos' since the beginning of the 90´s. This initiative has implemented a system of environmental managementaccording to the policy ISO 14001 around the world and has lead to achive the recycling of 92% of non-dangerous materials.
