Description
The start of February 2014 ushered in the Chinese New Year, celebrating the year of the horse and the unveiling of the all-new Mustang on its 50th anniversary. Swapping every horse on the Chinese Zodiac calendar with the iconic Mustang of that year, Ford was able to show our own brand of Horse – the Mustang.
Execution
Like the original Mustang logo, each zodiac symbol and vehicle was crafted by hand. We then foiled onto authentic, handmade Mariki paper from the Nepal region.
Outcome
The new Mustang will only be launched at the end of 2014. The aim of this poster was to create interest inside dealerships. This limited edition poster continues to be a prized point of sale item throughout the dealer network, even beyond Chinese communities.
