Description
If ‘You eat. They eat.’ explained what the campaign was all about in a few words, the design captured the essence of the sign-off line in a clever yet minimal execution. The design shows how the same food can feed two people through a series of illustrations. Different characters of adults and kids and their combination adds more colour to this campaign.
Execution
Posters showed a clever amalgamation of illustration design to capture our campaign thought – you eat, they eat. The posters were put up at KFC stores, every time someone walked in, the clever illustration got their attention. During the designing stage, we really wanted a clever design solution that showed the whole process of your ‘your meal will get a child a meal’ in a minimalistic fashion. By combining the illustration of an adult and a child we were able to achieve the same.
Outcome
A large number of people were moved by the design. They contributed more towards the Add Hope initiative by adding a little extra to their bill. More than a million meals were distributed. Feel good factor prevailed with the brand and the consumers alike.
