Description
In Switzerland, Branded Entertainment is in the early stages of development and is still not widely used.
There were no further restrictions – of course advertisement has to be claimed as such. The content was directly connected to the brand starting with the title “Your Heartbeat powered by Samsung Galaxy A”.
Execution
On the campaign microsite users could create their remix by choosing from plenty of audio tracks. In real-time, the sounds were played and the related GIFs were shown. Every remix was provided directly on the microsite and on YouTube for the user to watch and share with friends.
The interactive music video experience was promoted through preroll ads and web banners. On the website of the most popular swiss newspaper we started an online voting to choose the Official Remix.
Outcome
With „Your Heartbeat“ powered by Samsung Galaxy A users had a unique digital experience. Samsung strengthen its position as innovative brand and took a further step into the music world. Considering the small size of Switzerland, the numbers were pretty impressive:
Over 20.000 Remixes, making a total of more than two weeks of non-stop music. 240.000 Visitors spent an average of 3.50 minutes on our site. “Heart Keeps Dancing” by Vanessa Alves was chosen as the Official Remix.
