Description
When talking about electric scooters, most people are aware of the environmental and financial benefits. Kumpan electric wanted to focus more on the experience of driving one of their scooters. Total silence. So we came up with the idea, Zero Emissions. Zero Sound.
To demonstrate this idea, in a fun and engaging way that would encourage people to visit the shop for a test-drive, we put the scooters to the test in radio, online video and an out of home poster. The idea was to test people, to see if they could hear the sound of a Kumpan Electric Scooter.
Execution
In video, we put the scooters to the test buy demonstrating how a woman could get away with driving her Kumpan Electric scooter through a library. On the radio, we demonstrated just how alarmingly quiet the engines were. With the posters, we created a fun experience that played off the silent nature of the scooters. Each piece invited people to participate with the ad, testing to see if they could hear the Kumpan scooter.
Outcome
After sharing the video online, they have seen an increase of 500% in reach and engagement. Total ad views reached 17,000 and translated to 63% increase in store visits. Since the campaign launched, test-drives have risen from 1-2 a week to an average of 15 per week.
