Background
One species of animal disappears every day; five hundred and more are endangered in China alone. Public service advertising is out there, yet we care little because we don’t see these precious with our own eyes. They die out, and we know none.
Idea
We have embedded ZOO IN ZOO, which combines QQ-AR and LBS to treat users with an immersive experience that touches him or her with how beautiful these perilous animals are and arouses their awareness to care for and protect them?
Strategy
One species of animal disappears every day; five hundred and more are endangered in China alone. They are so few that we don’t even know if they die out. QQ ZOO IN ZOO, which combines QQ-AR and LBS, allows users to see these creatures by scanning an environment similar to where they really live, thanks to our AI scenario recognition. We have analyzed their traits and behaviors thoroughly, and every ZOO IN ZOO user is treated with an immersive experience that touches him or her with how beautiful these perilous animals are. We believe that only witness to their being and doing keeps us from overlooking the threatened future of endangered animals.
Execution
Implementation: Five AR endangered animals have been completed, and more are expectable.

Outcome
ZOO IN ZOO reaches 780 million users of QQ and has attracted 10,000+ daily participants to the zoo where it is implemented, more than 1,250,000 online attention. All visitors are treated with an immersive experience that touches them with how beautiful these perilous animals are, making a hit among children and arousing their awareness to care for and protect them. Meantime, QQ has consolidated its socially and ecologically responsible reputation.
