Our main goal was showing that the event was a great mix of culture and artistic expressions in many ways. Thefore it shouldn´t be restricted to the GLBT world. It was open to all interested in culture and diversity.
ClientBriefOrObjective
Mix Brazil Cultural Diversity Festival is an event on the GLBT them and its artistics manifestations in many ways: films, music, dance and literature.
It is also known for its cultural effervescence, by generating controversies and polemical issues with its presented themes.
How to promote the 21 st edition of these massive artistic performances, instigating and inviting people to show up at the festival without falling for any of gay world cliches?
Implementation
In these posters we visually translated the colorful and explosive picture of the festival, through elements that combined
generated explosive reactions. Eg.: Coke and Mentos, aerosol and fire, a pack of popcorn in the microwave.
This effervescence is the essence of the festival.
Outcome
A fully adequate language for the public of the festival: it is humorous and aesthetically attractive; helping to make Mix Brazil Festival a success once again. A new audience was drawn, people interested in cultural effervescence, by new ways of artistic expression. The 21st edition of the festival was an enormous breakthroung, atracting not only the homossexual community but the São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro population in general.
