OVERVIEW

Background

Out of the 5 human senses, it is known that 70% of the information we perceive is composed of colors. In other words, we define world by colors. PANTONE – the world’s leading company of colors – focused on this fact, and started a project to visualize the value of colors that people tend not to be aware much in their everyday lives.

Execution

Photographs shot by the camera were introduced in Instagram and the campaign site. This online gallery is a curation of photographed images transformed into a collection of beautiful PANTONE color-chips. To trigger users’ inspiration to the world of monocolor, each photographs were titled with #tags that express the original scene or the feeling which the photography was taken. Viewers across the world could feel the story that a color tells, and engage more deeply into what a single color can convey.
