Execution

In order to fascinate young German directors for the festival, 21 very personal invitations were sent out.

Each of the invitees received an unmarked letter in their mailbox. The only content: a DVD labelled "Play me".On the DVD, the recipients saw their own house, filmed secretly, for minutes. In some cases even themselves, walking past the window or coming home.Only then is it revealed that the idea behind it is an invitation to a film festival.

Outcome

18 of the 21 invited young directors came to the event and joined the party for the whole night.
