The film starts with a happy blonde mother and her baby decorating the Christmas tree in a nice, cozy house. There is Christmas music in the air, and everything is calm and warm. Suddenly, water starts flowing under the door, and a stranger, clad in black and with his face covered, slams the door and attacks the family, trying to rob the baby from her mother's arms. One step at a time, the setting changes. The mother and baby are wearing life jackets. She is now a dark haired woman, soaking wet. And finally, she is in the middle of the ocean, alone, as her baby is lost.
