In order to grab the attention of our target group (25-40 y/o single men living out of home) we decided to apply a bit of nostalgia: in a world where trends come and go, it's nice to have things that you can always count on – like classic food and classic rock.
Final Countdown was a perfect choice for several reasons:
1. They play Final Countdown as the clock on the microwave is literally counting down. Get it?
2. It’s an instantly recognisable hit to which our target group has headbanged for the past three decades – in short: it’s a real banger and an undeniable classic!
3. If there's one thing Finns love more than sautéed reindeer it's heavy metal.?
Fun fact: the performance was recorded live on location and without any post dubbing.
