Nuts sharpen your memory. And a good memory has its benefits: The consumers had to eat enough nuts to be able to memorize a URL, which was broadcasted via radio. If the URL was memorized correctly and typed into the web browser successfully, the user was transferred to a website on which he was congratulated on winning a holiday–for-two in the Alps.

Outcome

The promotion took place in December 2012. In comparison to the previous year Ja! Natürlich’s nut sales for the month of December increased by 25,6%. There was also a 13% increase in brand followers on Facebook.

Nobody knows how many failed, but there are two nut aficionados with an extraordinary memory who managed to memorize the URL and made it onto the website. We are sure they enjoyed their holiday in the Alps
