Adidas is the major sponsor of NZ’s most popular marathon. The Adidas Auckland Marathon is where serious and casual runners come together. Adidas wanted to be more than just a sponsor of the event, they wanted to have a tangible presence. They wanted to help runners achieve their impossible.

Adidas was approached by the Wellington ‘Hurricanes’ rugby club who want to use the fan for pre-match entertainment during the rugby season. And Adidas PR’d the success of the event throughout the Asia-Pac adidas network, and the idea now looks set to travel.
