Execution

'The Great Escape' 100 people locked up in an office building. The first one to escape will take the BigBongo.The contestants first had to fill in an online CV in which they had to prove their work stress level and that they deserved a spot in the competition.On the event day with their suitcases ready, they found themselves facing a real office: their cubicle, their computer, a boss, secretaries etc. Their mission: to complete six big office emergency tasks so they could leave.The tasks included finding a file in a cabinet that was full of them or getting a conceited boss to OK a budget.

Outcome

The results exceeded expectations: 1,000 people signed up for the event and although we discarded over 900, there were over 800 attendants hoping to get one of the remaining spots in the contest on the day of the event.The campaign achieved a widespread impact through both local and national media before and after the event, with free coverage in the press worth around 750,000 €, over three times the invested amount.The client sold 20,000 Bongos, doubling its monthly sales and exceeding their Christmas season sales predictions.
