Description

In this case our agency was the client. We were looking for a way to express the mantra of our agency–art serving capitalism–in a series of graphic posters.

Execution

The designer was inspired by the classic American commercial art style of the 1950s. This genre uses a wonderfully simple and wholesome depiction of people interacting with consumer products, and we liked the idea of this as a representation of “capitalism” for the series. And to us, this graphic style, particularly today, is very much art.

Outcome

Again, we were the client. And we liked the outcome very much. The posters are hanging in our agency and on display on our Web site in the agency “beliefs” section.
