Description

Every year PKP Proximity sends out special Christmas greetings to all its clients. The mailings are designed to fascinate, impress and involve clients. And this year was no exception.

Execution

All clients received a fold-out Father Christmas (the X-MAN), designed so that the client could “sit on his knee“ and make a wish – as seen in numerous films. Wishes could be addressed to either the client’s company management or to a variety of celebrities. To do this, the client had to unpack the figure, place it on a chair, sit on it, add the face of the person who was supposed to grant the wish, and make as original a wish as possible, all the time filming the process or taking photos. The film or photos could then be uploaded to the website www.x-man.at, which also provided a form for mailing the wish. Entrants automatically took part in a competition to win an iPod Touch, awarded to the most original wish accompanied by the most creative films or photo.

Outcome

Clients were enthusiastic. PKP received over 65 entries, and selected 1 winner. The campaign was a complete success and was the main topic of conversation in all client meetings held after Christmas. Some management executives and marketing heads still display the X-MEN in their offices today.
