Execution

Vueling always used clouds with friendly faces as part of its image which has made them a popular icon. After 4 years, we realized that anything that seemedike a cloud, could actually be turned into one by implementing a smiley face on it. Being so, we sent a group of cloud hunters to 9 Vueling destinations. The hunted clouds were used to promote those destinations on Press and & Outdoor. Meanwhile, we encouragedpeople to join the Cloud Hunting Project through stickers with clear instructions so to how to participate in a photography competition at buscandonubes.com. We also aired radio adverts.

Outcome

-With thousands of hunted clouds in 9 different european countries, we promoted Vueling destinations.-Thousands of hunted clouds can be found at buscandonubes.com-Tons of blogs comments.-However, mostly all of Spain used the cheapest and most effective form of communication: the word of mouth. -The only problem we have now is that thousands of Spaniards and Vueling passengers are obsessed with hunting clouds, that they do so even in places they don't exist.
