The main radio station's programming was interrupted during a week time in which the leader of youngsters' opinions was there as an anchor. The audience experienced the terror sensation of the film by means of news-like reports interrupting the programmes, beasts in the studio (a simulation of attacks on the presenter) and news reports from the streets in which the aliens had passed through.
Outcome
Panic and incredibility took to press coverage, Internet and radio stations. Finally, a record box office for movies of this nature. The campaign was carried out during a short period of time (two weeks) and using a small budget (US$53,000).
