These days, our phones are pretty much our world. And when our phones die, we lose control of our world. We're rendered powerless. But mophie gives you backup battery power so you can stay powerful. To shed light on the universal problem of losing phone power, we brought to life what might happen if the most powerful suddenly lost his power.

We used a broad combination of 2D and 3D effects. For example, the hyenas and car hitting scenes, we shot plates and composited them together using a camera track from our hero plate. We shot hyenas on set separately from the main actor and tracked them into his scene. A lot of CG was implemented for scenes like the raining fish, the aerial shot with the flying penguins, and the ferris wheel at the end. The entire outer space shot of earth was CG, including the astronaut. Matte paintings were created and comped for God's room, as well as the destruction of the city. Some shots required rig removal in order to achieve the effect. All CG was rendered from Maya and all compositing was done in Flame.
