Description

To achieve such an traditional objective, raising funds, we created an innovative multi-platform campaign where technology allowed donations to be made in real time with an immediate impact.

We developed different creative tools capable of connecting ON/OFF worlds. A synergy was created between both worlds that maximized the impact of the promotion.

We humanized technology and storytelling in order connect with people emotionally.

To recreate the stress in an occidental country, we associated the campaign with an objective of time. People’s monetary contributions were transformed into extra time that the NGO would be able to continue their work abroad.

Outcome

1. The campaign was the most successful in the NGO's 30 years, resulting in a record €92,000 which equalled 2 additional years of humanitarian aid in Angola. Over 2 million people interacted with the campaign via social networks. Moreover, the campaign generated free publicity in national mainstream media, generating awareness for both Angola and Codespa.

2. To achieve our objectives we used an innovative real time multi-platform and multi-channel donation system supported by ONLINE/OFFLINE awareness campaigns and a PR strategy centered on traditional and digital media.

3. Our initial goal to raise €10,000 was exceeded 9 times. Thanks to the success of this campaign the NGO will be ale to sustain its presence in Angola for 2 more years in order to continue nutrition and economic development projects for marginalized communities of less than 10,000 inhabitants.
