Description

The new-look Sydney Festival website offers intuitive navigation and search capabilities to effortlessly experience the vast range of Sydney Festival offerings. The site provides up-to-the-minute event information, online ticket booking, Festival packages and merchandise. The Sydney Festival is Australia's cultural epicentre - representing the best that Australia has to offer. Creativity, innovation and mastery are the keystones for this event and Massive has taken responsibility to ensure the interactive identity for this festival reflects and furthers these ideals. Features - Personalisation; by including into one succinct page, only those events that the user indicates interest in. Automatic email reminders allow users to receive a reminder for a particular event, either one week, two days (or both) prior to the event. Dynamic and user friendly Content Management System allowing Festival site administrators to add, delete and update content as required. Ticket sales for Festival events, as well as attendances to free outdoor events, doubled on the previous year, and those additional attendees were largely in the 20 to 35 year old age group. This made the 2002 Sydney Festival the biggest and most successful in its 27-year history. Establishing a new audience required a vigorous campaign in terms of projects, venues and marketing.
