To prove that the dumplings by Cherkashin are the best, we headed to the country-side for approval from the most honest and demanding judges - real Russian grandmas and grandpas.

Filming took place in a small village, no professional actors were involved.

Casting process took about three weeks of constant searches.

We were faced with the task of finding grandmas and grandpas across some of Russia's remote villages.

We were shooting three different stories and so we were searching for single grandma, grandpa and grandma, and three grandmas who are friends.

It was quite an ambitious task - wintery roads, small remote villages, cold weather.
