Description
Red Bull Art of Motion is a global competition that combines parkour & free running and based around freedom of movement. The competition places competitors in a crafted arena of plateaus at varying heights, sizes and distances, as well as a variety of other obstacles such as bars and walls.
This film was part of a communication campaign to drive awareness tothe event in Kuwait and was seeded on to mobile via mms and online.
The reason for this is that smart phone penetration in Middle East is the highest in the world more there are more mobiles than computers. Coupled with the fact that the communication is purely aimed at Kuwaiti youth who embrace this technology and love to share new cool content with each other on therehandsets which extends our communication reach. The spirit of Parkour is very underground & rebellious and the whole film was filmed in this spirit - guerilla style over 3 days with a small budget with an event smaller crew and without any permissions while using local Kuwaiti free runners.
