In the 1980’s Audi was made famous by its quattro rally car which dominated the rally scene, winning world championships in 1982 and 1984. As a result of its success many people think of Audi ‘quattro’ as this car, and not the sophisticated 4 wheel drive system that is available on all Audi models. So, with awareness of the name ‘quattro’ high, but understanding of what it is low, we needed to educate consumers.In the spot we see a hand gripping a variety of objects explaing how grip works and how much to use, how to change it and when you need it most, it's instinctive - at Audi they use grip this way too - Quattro. Independent grip intelligiently applied. Spot ends with image of Audi Quattro.
