Background
Bacardi was looking for large-format painted media in both Miami and San Diego to target local consumers. Bacardi could not find any existing available inventory. Our new paint division was selected to enter each market and custom scout locations specific to individual streets, such as Miami's Calle Ocho Walk of Fame.
The idea was to create visually impactful media that both stood out and blended into the environment.
Execution
1. Scouted and hand-picked buildings.
2. Facade rehabilitation and preparation two weeks prior to artist arrival.
3. Custom, bespoke artwork designed by each respective artist.
4. Complete restoration of the building's facade after the campaign was finished.
Outcome
"The locations created tremendous buzz in their respective communities as they watched locally famed artists Rey Jaffet (Miami) and Gregory Siff (San Diego) paint over the course of two weeks. The community was left with these stunning works of art for 30 days and appreciated the restoration of the building long after the campaign was over.
This experience helped foster a genuine connection with locals and an authentic appreciation for the brand."
