Each tray became a piece of Bauducco Toast and included a message: “Bauducco Toast. It goes well with everything”. Consumers who took our “Toast-Tray” home helped spread the message among their family and friends.
Outcome
Over 3,500 people were exposed to this extremely cost-effective action. While the action was carried out, 60% of consumers who bought the “Toast-Trays” also bought the original Bauducco Toast. As a result, average sales were increased by 25% compared to the same period last year.
