OVERVIEW

Description

BBC Creative is the BBC’s new in-house creative agency.

Launched January 2016, the agency creates marketing campaigns for everything the corporation does.

Being a completely new entity, the agency needed a brand identity that would reflect its unique position within the BBC.

Everyone knows the BBC logo. Therefore the BBCC identity, like the agency, had to work seamlessly with the three famous blocks.

The idea was simple. The 4th letter would represent a creative block highlighting what we do as a business, day in, day out: a ‘C’ that is constantly changing and evolving according to its use and purpose.

Execution

The new logo, using the creative C-Box concept, was applied to fit all our departments and purposes.

From the office life:

- email signatures

- business cards

- mugs

- stamps

- letterheads

...

To showing off our work:

- website

- showreel credits

- presentation decks

- script templates

- clocks

...

Last but not least, cool and useful stuff for our staff:

- tote bags

- t-shirts

...

Outcome

The new identity launched this spring so we don't have any learnings yet, but the feedback from the rest of the BBC and our staff has been tremendous.
