VVLBBDO wanted to recruit a talented team to strengthen its creative department. Unfortunately, in 2012, VVLBBDO didn’t win a single creative award in Belgium. However the Belgian agency which scooped all the awards was DG MODEM.
Nevertheless, to attract a team, VVLBBDO placed a banner on marketing and advertising sites masquerading as DG MODEM. People thought that DG MODEM was recruiting a team. When they clicked on the banner a pre-addressed email appeared, with two e-mail addresses. Those of VVLBBDO’s two Creative Directors. And not those of DG MODEM’S Creative Directors.
Outcome
We got 50 responses. 35 of which were serious.
We hired a new team, Tijs and Steven. Welcome guys.
