Description
Delight Netflix users with a creative innovative experience that blends promotion and entertainment and applies user's data to target the movie title to the right audience in the right time. All content and the UX experience were crafted and designed to be integrated seamlessly to the existing Netflix UI. Motion assets, cutdowns of the trailer and compelling images were tailored and serve on Netflix in a strategic cadence to create excitement during pre-promotion phase and launch of the film.
Execution
We executed the test of Netflix Film tactics across our 80+ Million members in 190 countries. We did this on both Netflix.com and on our TV application running on hundreds of different devices. We used highly predictive data to target each film to our members making sure we’re connecting people to the films they would love.
Outcome
The highly targeted and personalized promotion results in not only more interest on the title but also completion of the movie. As the audience grows, we promote to more people, resulting in growth of viewers and subscribers. We plan on continuing these tactics and expanding on testing new methods of promotion.
