Description

Heineken's latest brand ad tells the story of universal beer moments and highlights the Heineken drinker’s ability to open their world to new and different experiences. ‘Brief Encounter’, opens with our character on board a train stopped at a station. He has barely enough time to grab a paper at the newsstand on the platform, as he’s forced to run after the train as it is set to depart. On re-entering his carriage, he encounters a couple, with the wife drinking from his bottle of Heineken. Our lead character refuses to give up his Heineken and it leads to a somewhat intimidating situation. It’s a new experience that will be retold later with great excitement to his friends. That’s what this commercial is about – creating a great Heineken story. Unexpected encounters become legendary stories in themselves.
