With this narrative we wanted to break stereotypes to reveal a more accurate portrait of humanity for people with disabilities and new internet users around the globe. We deployed a mash-up of illustration styles and animation techniques – from digital and hand-drawn assets to 2D, 3D, and cel animation.
We wanted to be sure these stories were truly accessible -- so if you had blindness, a bed of rich sounds complemented the feeling of the story, or if you had hearing loss, clear, bold, beautiful imagery along with the integration of text in the creative communicated the arc of these stories.
Beyond documenting stories from people from around the world, “Being Human Is” pooled together hundreds of artists and creative companies across four continents and seven timezones.
