Two young actors, strangers thrown together in a casting, spend a fleeting summer rehearsing and learning to fall in love on stage. As they are gently guided by their director (cupid), their own feelings take over.

The world is one step ahead of the couple as both play the roles of lovers, but don’t yet know one another. A whole cast and crew are supporting their characters’ union on stage; building sets, fitting clothes, but as actors, the two are still exploring their friendship.

Fate is almost overbearing as it throws them together in a casting. Picked to play lovers with cupid guiding them, but ultimately this experience is temporary and they both know it. When the summer is over it will be time to move on. Ultimately, they have to choose love over consequence, trusting each other in the face of an uncertain future.
