Description
The idea of creating a new Christmas dinner flavour of Pot Noodle called 'Pot Noeldle'.
For the launch, we created a film that was both a spoof and an homage to the celebrated Christmas ads we’ve grown to anticipate as the start of the festive season. In traditional Pot Noodle style, this treatment is applied to a vision of the real British Christmas, with the animation style taking its lead from the beloved children’s programmes of yesteryear, whilst the soundtrack harks to the famous Christmas advertising of the present. To the ring of sleigh bells, the Pot Noodle van careers through the town centre drawing enraptured hoodies, mobile phone-toting babies and policemen in its wake, passing some famous figures of 2010 to deliver its precious cargo. ‘You’d have to be Ebenezer Scrooge not to walk away from your computer smiling’.
