Execution

BIG is a new program for Big Brothers Big Sister Miami. When people buy items tagged with the BIG logo, a portion of the proceeds goes to help mentoring kids.

We wanted a simple visual device to tell our story—one that combined shopping and mentoring in the same image. So we had a mannequin wearing BIG items mentor a "Little" from our program.

We paired "Little's" from our program with male and female mannequins and had them ride a tandem bike around Miami's hottest shopping districts.

Outcome

Thanks to $106,500 in donated media BIG launched in November with advertising creating awareness among local shoppers and business owners. And with business still signing up and new assets continuing to go out each week, BIG is continuing to build momentum.

To date, $17,962 of micro-donations from local Miamians has allowed 60 additional children to be enrolled into the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Without BIG the funding to include these children would not of been there.
