Description

A 4-year-old named Eli described his dream car on the auto blog, 'Jalopnik.' It was a BMW with 42 wheels, 19 engines, three drivers’ seats and a toy trunk.

BMW has always been dedicated to its enthusiasts, so we decided to bring Eli’s dream to life. We designed Eli’s car and posted the image to Facebook, Tumblr and Instagram.

Within days, 'Likes' rolled in, people shared it and worldwide press generated 11.6 million online impressions. Fans pledged and re-pledged their love for the brand.

In one week, Eli’s car became one of the most engaged social initiatives for BMW ever.
