The BMW Individual Augmented Reality App is an AR App for iOS & Android within which the user can view the wide range of BMW Individual options within the collection and witness his BMW Individual 7 Series anywhere he wants, life-sized! He can freely move around the car, experience the details within the colors of the paint and admire the new 7 Series Individual.
We did not want to create just another AR-App for the sake of itself, but to push the boundaries especially in terms of visual quality and level of realism and live up to the premium experience of BMW Individual as a brand. For instance, we put a lot of effort into small nearly invisible details of the look such as the flakes in the paint finish, a BMW Individual charateristic, that you might remark only at second glance.

Experience the new BMW Individual in original size, feel free to move around the car and share your unique experience on your social network.
Outcome
The app has been installed about 5000 times and counting and has been awarded with different trophees. This underscores the great marketing success the app achieved and also the great adoption on the part of the users. Due to this success story following updates and/or a a roll-out for other models seems very likely and we are looking forward to making the app even better as technology advances.
