Description
The new logo should reflect the theatre's renewal and support of the modern as well as loyalty to its rich history. The logo should have lighter variations for different applications. The designers of the new visual identity should reflect in their work the Bolshoi's active collaboration with the world's most prominent theatres. Layouts for various printed materials—theatre posters, flyers, etc.—should allow room for sponsor ads and for ticket kiosk locations and hours.
Execution
The key-elements—the familiar overall shape of the previous version of the logo and the theatre's façade as one of the Russia's most recognisable symbols—made it to the updated logo designed in our studio, though completely redone by our specialists from scratch. Travelling show projects got their own versions of the logo.
Outcome
Specification from the brand book is already in use in official documentation, theatre posters and on the website.
