Show consumers how your books are better, how they come alive. We took this concept, along with the challenge of increasing traffic in our client's bookstore and combined it with technology and a strategic partner, i.e. iStore.Using augmented reality technology, we illustrated how Wordsworth Books bring a story to life. After entering a partnership with the iMac store in the mall, we handed out flyers to consumers, which were 'torn out pages' from Wordsworth books, that when held up to the iMacs’ webcams became animated, 3-Dimensional depictions of the written word.
Outcome
Consumers loved how the page came to life and thought it was in line with the quirky image that the chain is known for. Our client, Wordsworth Books reported increased traffic in their store for the duration of the promotion.
